Good service, good food

We had an extraordinary time in this place. We enjoyed the amazing ambience and the food. The staff are very affable. I am content we finally managed to try this restaurant.

This place is a hidden GEM! The Food is definitely 5-star ... Michelle makes service 6-stars ... I loved this place more on every visit ... Good homescooked food ... Can't wait to go back again ... Soon!

I came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everyone was nice. The food was delicious. I ordered the linguine with white clam sauce and loved it. My young kids were pretty cranky coming in, but the staff was nice about it. By the end of the dinner, everyone was happy.

I took my family here for dinner and the food was prepared as I requested, the food is EXCELLENT. Michelle treated us like family and was very accommodating.I highly recommend Ristorante Maietta.

Amazing decor and amazing food. Comes out in under 20 minutes! Everyone is so friendly and relaxed! Slightly expensive but worth it!

Some of the nicest people work here. Every time anyone in my family comes in we're welcomed to a great atmosphere. The food is very good with the pizza being one of the best in the area. Even though I'm not around much, I always try to stop in to get a slice of pizza!

Very good food and ambiance

Great pizza and was delivered super fast and hot. John delivered the pizza very professional and we over paid him it was only a couple dollars and he came back to try and return the money. Never have seen such a thing happen where they are so honest will always order from them every time I am in that area. Thank you John

First thing I noticed was a musty smell apon walking in. Dining area a bit small. Food was very good. Large portions. broccoli rabe was too garlicky for me so I didn't finish it. Chicken with eggplant was delicious. Took a while for our food to come. I would give it another try.The owner said "that's a bit strange". It's my opinion.

Stopped in for a quick bite with the fsmily, ordered a regular pie with pepperoni on two of the slices. Absolutely delicious. Cooked perfect. Fresh. Better than most of the popular pizza places in the Manalapan/freehold area. Definitely better than Krispy! Will be back!

We came by at a suggestion from a friend and were very pleased. We just stopped in for pizza which was excellent, felt like I was back in Brooklyn. We will definitely come by for dinner on our next trip

I order a pizza from here know the owner and family 4 years I was the worst pizza I ever had u take 1 bite it was in your lap and we asked 4 extra crispy never again this is not the first time this happen how can say good food

OMG, what a wonderful and pleasant dining experience! A relaxing ambiance. This was our first time eating here, even though we have driven past it numerous times. There are 14 tables that seat four people each in the main dining area. It is a very quaint restaurant and simply but nicely decorated. There was soft and easy music playing with artists such as Dean Martin, Tony Bennet and Nat King Cole. The food was excellent. The calamari was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The chicken and eggplant parmigiana was cooked perfectly along with the pasta. The homemade pasta sauce was just as delicious. No canned or jarred sauce here. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable. The is also a small bar that serves popular italian wines and liquors. The restaurant is owned and operated all by family members. Will definitely be back with friends and family.

I've loved this place since I was very little. Menu is different now, but the food is still fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the staff is very friendly. My waitress Michelle was an absolute treasure and made my last visit so enjoyable. Fun Fact: A movie was filmed here in the late 90's/early 2000's, I was there during the filming but can't for the life of me remember the name of the film.

Let me start this reveiw with this...It is one of the most welcoming places to have a relaxing meal. The hospitality and deep family atmosphere is definitely here. You walk in to a staff that treats you as if you were their own relative. I've been coming here with my 2 daughters for over 7 years and they will throw a hissy fit if they don't get one of the freshly made pizzas or one of the mouthwatering homemade dishes...The owners always welcome you with a smile! The 2 sons and Father always super friendly!!! At least once a month I bring my kitchen staff all the way from Newark to eat here because of the food. Always fresh!, Always clean!...and the presentation is on point. There are very few places that myself, my family and my staff would eat at..and this place is the one real "AUTHENTIC" Italian restaurant. And yes, I did mention that I bring my kitchen staff...we're all cooks and we appreciate real food. This place gets 10 stars in my opinion.

3.5 stars rating from me. A promising restaurant where the ambient setting is very easy on the eyes with pleasant staff to match. Chicken is superior quality here particularly the marsala. Not as good as my Dad's but a restaurant could not survive doing it that way with massif quantity of vintages. Francaise is good. Otherwise other dishes may vary in qualifying to your tastes.

The Servers are amazing! They always watch out for me since I am gluten free. Food is excellent.

Food was delicious staff was there when you needed them very friendly but not overbearing. Drinks were very tasty with different flavors. Outside dining did not hinder this experience!!!

Very good they have great service. Always treat you like family servers are amazing.. All their dishes are fresh made and REAL Italian food. I have been eating here for long long time as a kid its always relaxing and owners come out and will make you feel like your part of the family. Everything About this restaurant is perfect i have brought people friends and family here and they all say how great the fresh pizza is and great fresh dishes are.. A lot of my friends have said its the best pizza they ever had.. I recommend this place to everyone to go or order the food for take out.

Absolutely delicious! If you want real Italian food cooked properly this is the place to go! Ive been meaning to stop by for months. Finally took the dive and I am not disappointed! Friendly staff, warm atmosphere and the food was delicious and came out hot!

Last night had a veal parmigiana hero which was excellent. The pizza which I’ve had numerous times with no negative comments was not up to par. Overall usually a great restaurant, service is always great friendly and very accommodating

Exceptional food and service. Calamari is very perfectly crispy and tender without being oily. Seafood is fresh. Everything we had was delicious. Prices are reasonable. We will be back!

Always a great time at Maietta’s. The best pizza around. Service is always spectacular!! My wife loves their eggplant Parmesan. Says it’s just like her Grandmothers. And my daughters favorite is the Fettucini Alfredo with chicken. Awesome Place!!

Our food was perfect tonight!! I can’t express how wonderful my experience here has been. I’ve been ordering from here for years and the consistency of the food has never changed. My family and I only order pizza from here. The owners Ciro and Andrea are wonderful people. You can see the pride of ownership in what they do. Don’t ever hesitate to order anything from here. All of their dining room options are authentic Italian dishes like my grandparents use to make. Keep doing what you do!!

I went on a date with my significant other here, and we both really enjoyed it. The ambience is very nice. It is quiet and candelit, altogether a very romantic place perfect for dates. Caring staff and amazing food, with larger portions.
